Best Student Oral Presentation

Best Student Oral Presentation

To be considered for this prize, the presenting author must initially be registered for the conference as a Student (with appropriate confirmation provided).

Once abstracts have been accepted for presentation in an oral session, all student presenting authors will be contacted by the Local Organising Committee and invited to apply to be considered for this prize.

To be eligible, the student presenting author must have registered for the conference and submitted a pdf version of the slides online for their presentation by 1st June 2008 (note that minor changes to the slides will be allowed between this submission and the conference). Full details of how to submit this pdf file will be included in the invitation to apply for the prize.

The submitted presentations will be reviewed prior to the conference by a sub-committee drawn from the International Program Committee, and a short-list drawn up.

Each of the oral presentations included in the short-list will be identified in the conference programme, and each will be attended and assessed by the three members of an evaluation committee (one member from the International Programme Committee, one from the Local Organising Committee, and another prominent member of the IBS). The prize winner(s) will be announced and prizes awarded at the Closing Session of the Conference.
