Abstract SubmissionAll abstracts must be submitted online and prepared using the Word or Latex templates provided. Please click here to view an example of an abstract written using the templates. It is necessary to download the appropriate template, save it on your hard drive and write your abstract using it. Authors who choose to use the Latex template should convert the paper to PDF prior to uploading it online. Each abstract submission must include the title, list of authors and author affiliations, and abstract (as indicated in the template), with each submission having a maximum length of one page of A4 using the fonts specified in the templates. Authors will also have to select one Methodological Topic and one Application Areas from the list provided. Please choose the classification that is most relevant to the content focus of your submission. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee for the Conference, and presenting authors will be informed of the status of their abstract (oral session, poster session, rejection) by 15th March. Steps to submit an extended abstract for IBC 2008 Conference1. If you have previously registered on the IBC 2008 Conference portal, click LOG IN and enter your existing username and password. If you have forgotten your username and password, click on Password Reminder. 2. If you have not previously registered on the IBC 2008 Conference portal, please click NEW USER and complete your contact details. The server will issue you with a username and password by e-mail to allow you to access your personal page. Upon completion of your details, you will automatically be redirected to the abstract submission form. 3. Please complete the online submission form - title of paper, all authors and co-authors, paper type (Invited Oral Presentation, Contributed Oral Presentation or Contributed Poster Presentation), classification (it is necessary to select one Methodological Topic and one Application Areas from the list provided) and then upload your abstract in Word or PDF format. 4. Upon submission of your abstract, the server will issue an automated acknowledgement of receipt by e-mail. 6. You can review the abstract submitted via your personal page and update and resubmit it up to the deadline of 31 January 2008. However, once it has been allocated to the Scientific Committee, it is no longer possible to resubmit it. 7. Authors may choose to submit a number of unique abstract online via Abstract Submission. All abstracts submitted will be listed on your My Page on the portal. If you are updating an existing submission, please do this via your My Page following LOG IN. We would like to thank all authors who submitted abstracts for review. The Programme Committee Feedback will be published on your My Page in due course.Abstract Submission is now closed for IBC 2008. |
