As is the tradition at ICSM, the conference proceedings will be published in Elsevier's 'Synthetic Metals' journal.

This year, we will only publish conference highlights, i.e. selected original top-quality research papers. During the conference, members of the International Advisory Board will look out for suitable original contributions who will then be invited to submit a full length peer-reviewed original paper by September 1, 2006.

A special prize of 1000 Euro each shall be given to 10 posters of young scientists for the "best poster presentation".

Elsevier and Synthetic Metals will sponsor the 'Synthetic Metals Young Scientist Award' which was launched in 2002 in Shanghai and which consists of 3 prizes: for a student, a post doc and a young independent researcher.
